Coordinate fish and wildlife manager participation in regional mitigation activities for implementation of the Fish and Wildlife Program including RM&E, project and program review, subbasin plan implementation, program amendment recommendations, etc.

Under this contract in Fiscal Year 2007, CBFWA will  (1) coordinate and assist the fish and wildlife managers in developing consensus positions on regional fish and wildlife issues, (2) coordinate and facilitate the collective involvement of the fish and wildlife managers in regional planning, (3) coordinate technical and policy input by fish and wildlife managers to regional research, monitoring, and evaluation activities, (4) produce coordinated fish and wildlife manager recommendations on Program amendments, (5) coordinate and facilitate decision making towards providing consensus positions on fish and wildlife project implementation, (6) track and assess the implementation and success of the Program’s mitigations and recovery measures, (7) develop and maintain a webpage and an annual resource status and trends report of fish and wildlife populations, relative to biological objectives in subbasin plans, and (8) participate  in policy discussions with other entities and contribute to a white paper describing a proposal for a regional coordination framework for the Fish and Wildlife Program going forward into FY08 and FY09.
